Meet Ashley:

As many of us explore our passions in life, we often take the road less traveled. I explored my passions as a young adult by choosing not to attend college but instead to jump into the workforce. Several different states, jobs and even a few countries later, I learned about my purpose, my niche in this world: Being passionate about facilitating other human beings in their endeavors so they can reach their desired potential!

Even though I grew up on a small farm in a small New England town, I quickly learned that other places in this world offered different opportunities, had different traditions, as well as different foundational philosophies. These different perspectives are like a kaleidoscope, and as we gain experiences, our view of our worlds change into new patterns. However, we do not always acquire the new coping skills for smooth adjustments.

As a therapist with Carolina Counseling Professionals, LLC, I will provide you with a safe space in which to reconnect with yourself, so you are better equipped to handle life’s stresses. My treatment approach is to start where the client is, focusing on collaboration, empowerment and challenging perceptions. I primarily use CBT, Art in Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness.

I want your strength to build so you will no longer need my services. When we feel seen and understood, without the threat of judgment, we become empowered to look at our challenges in a healthy way.
